Purpose
The Quick Reservation page only displays vehicles that are available for the selected dates and locations. It also recognises vehicles that may be required for unallocated bookings.
The Quick Reservation page can be used to answer common questions from customers, for example:
- Do you have a station wagon available from Brisbane Airport return between the 24th - 28th February?
- How much will it cost?
- Can you send me a Quote?
On the Quick Reservation page, rental operators can make bookings for specific vehicles or leave the bookings as unallocated if necessary. They can also easily generate a quote and email it to the customer.
Accessing Quick Reservations
Quick Reservations can be found under the Reservations menu.
Reservations > Quick Reservation.
View a List of Available Vehicles
1. On the Quick Reservation Page, select the pick up location, drop off location, vehicle category and the dates for the reservation.
2. Click "View" to see a list of all available vehicles for the specified location, vehicle category and date range. Alternatively, you may click one of the two drop down options below to filter your search:
A. View all available vehicles by all categories, the region or all locations
B. View available vehicles for previous, end of or next day.
Add a Reservation
1. To create a reservation from the Quick Reservation page a list of available vehicles must first be generated. See the section above for generating a list (View a list of available vehicles).
2. Once a list of available vehicles has been generated click the "Book" button for the vehicle you want to book.

3. Once you have completed the booking the Quick Reservation page automatically refreshes, showing one vehicle less available for booking.
NOTE: The Taken column in the table of available vehicles displays a check mark when you have unallocated bookings that may require one of the listed vehicles. For example, your enquiry may display 5 vehicles as being available but 2 of these have the Taken flag displayed against them. This means when the 2 unallocated bookings are converted, then only 3 vehicles will actually be available for this Quick Reservation. If you are using unallocated bookings, take note of the Taken flag to avoid overbooking.
Update a Reservation
Reservations must be updated once the customer is ready to pick up the vehicle, or if the customer is returning the vehicle after use. However, updating a reservation cannot be done through the Quick Reservation page. Updating a reservation is done through the Reservation Sheet or the Reservation Enquiry and Update page. Cancel a Reservation
Customers may decide to cancel a reservation or fail to pay or pickup the vehicle. When any of these situations occur you can cancel the reservation following the steps in the
Reservation Sheet article. A reservation can't be cancelled from the Quick Reservation page.
Make an Unallocated Booking
You can also make an unallocated booking through the Quick Reservation page.
1. Generate a list of available vehicles (see View a list of available vehicles section).
2. Click the "Unallocate" button corresponding to the vehicle you wish to book.

Raise a Quotation
Quotes can be raised from the Quick Reservation page.
1. Generate a list of available vehicles (see View a list of available vehicles section).
2. To raise a quote, click the "Quote" button corresponding to the vehicle you want to create a quote for.

Quick quotes are performed from the Quick Reservation screen through a rate check.
1. Generate a list of available vehicles (see View a list of available vehicles section).
2. To perform a rate check click the "Rate" button corresponding to the vehicle you want to perform a rate check on.
