New Unallocated Reservation
Purpose
The New Unallocated Reservation feature allows you to make a booking without a vehicle assigned.
An unallocated reservation is generally made when you are not sure what vehicles will be available when you make a reservation or when the pickup date is far enough in the future that allocating a vehicle is not possible.
Accessing New Unallocated Reservations
New Unallocated Reservations can be found under the Reservations menu.
Reservations > New Unallocated Res.
Creating a New Unallocated Reservation
Clicking on the New Unallocated Reservation icon will open the booking module ready for you to enter the reservation details.

The booking module also handles new quotes and bookings.
Making a new Unallocated Reservation is the same process as making a regular reservation, the main difference being that the vehicle selection list does not appear on the form.
Overview of the New Unallocated Reservation Process
- Complete the New Unallocated Reservation.
- When you are ready to allocate a vehicle use the Allocate Reservation tool (Allocate Reservation article).
- Once a vehicle has been allocated to the booking it will be displayed on the Reservation Sheet.
