Do Not Rent Days

Do Not Rent Days

Purpose

Do Not Rent (DNR) Days  refer to days when your all or some of your locations are closed.  This is generally due to a public holiday  e.g. Christmas Day.
When setting up a single DNR Day, the same date should be selected as the start and end date.

DNR Days can be setup to apply to BOTH pickups and dropoffs, or, EITHER pickups or dropoffs.

A message will appear as below when you select a DNR Day as a pickup or drop off date when making a reservation.

Note you can also manually override this message, if you selected to do so when creating the DNR record. See below:

DNR Days records can also be created for a set period of time. eg - 15th December 2020 - 30th December 2020. However, they can also be created to allow pickups and drop offs apart from a specific day. - eg - Sunday's between the dates specified.

See the example below - Perth Airport - "Sunday Staff Holidays". No pickups or drop offs allowed on the two Sunday's in between 15th December 2020 - 30th December 2020.

Accessing the Do Not Rent Days tab

The Do Not Rent Days tab can be found under Seasons within the System Setup menu.
System Setup > Seasons > Do Not Rent Days

Adding and Viewing Do Not Rent Days for your locations

You can view your DNR days for only a specific location. Click "Select" to run the DNR day records for that location.
However, when adding or updating a DNR day record, you can either set up DNR Days for all or a specific location. To add a new record, click "Add Do Not Rent Days".

On the new DNR Days screen, enter in the details and click Submit to save the new record. The example below is how you would add a DNR record for the period over Easter 2020 for all your locations, including pick ups and drop offs.
