Quick Reservation by Vehicle
Purpose
The Quick Reservation by Vehicle function allows you to quickly create a reservation when you know which vehicle is to be assigned. Note that this function also allows you to make maintenance and non-revenue bookings. See the article below for more information:
This function is a great option for creating a reservation on the fly when the customer is right there in your branch office or on the phone.
You can search for the vehicle by fleet number or rego number.
Accessing the Quick Reservation by Vehicle tab
The Quick Reservation by Vehicle tab can be found under the Quick Res in Reservations.
Reservations >> Quick Res
Search for an Available Vehicle
You now have the option to search either the vehicle's Rego or Fleet number. Then click "View".
Add a Reservation
From the search results page, click "Book" under the "Revenue Book" field.
You will then be taken to Booking Module, where you can fill in the necessary details and add the booking.

Update a Reservation
Reservations must be updated once the customer is ready to pick up the vehicle, or if the customer is returning the vehicle after use. However, updating a reservation cannot be done through the Quick Res By Vehicle page. Updating a reservation is done through the Reservation Sheet or the Reservation Enquiry and Update page. Reservation SheetCancel a Reservation
Customers may decide to cancel a reservation or fail to pay or pickup the vehicle. When any of these situations occur you can cancel the reservation following the steps in the Reservation Sheet article. A reservation can't be cancelled from the Quick Res By Vehicle page.
