Hired & CDW Sold Report
Purpose:
The Hired & CDW Sold report will list any bookings that fall within the date range where there is an insurance option against the booking. Information will only appear where the insurance options have the Pay Operator Commission flag set to Yes.
The report will detail the original insurance option against the booking and who sold it. It will also detail the final insurance option against the booking and who sold that. It will also show which operator hired the booking out.

Reports >> Monthly Financial Reports >> CDW Sales Report >> Hired & CDW Sold
Parameters/Filters:
Location | This report can be run for All Locations or a specific location. This location applies to the pickup locations of bookings. |
Report Date Range Type | This report can be run for one of the following date ranges:

Report Date Range | The date range applied to the report. |
Example:
Hired | The name of the operator who updated the booking to a Hired status. |
Res | The reservation number of the booking. Clicking on the red reservation number will open the Booking Details screen. |
Pickup Date | The pickup date of the booking. |
Entered | The name of the operator who created the booking. |
Date Entered | The date the booking was created. |
Days Sold | The number of rental days for the booking. |
| CDW Revenue | The revenue amount on the booking for the insurance option. |
CDW Sold By | The name of the operator who sold the insurance option. |
Date Sold | If the operator who created the booking and hired the booking out with the same insurance option, this is the date the insurance was added to the booking. |
Notes | If the operator who sold the original insurance option and the operator who sold the last insurance option on the booking is different, it is noted here. |
Points to Note:
- The Operator recorded against any sale of Insurance is always the FIRST operator that adds a fee on. Subsequent changes of the fee will not be recorded, and can not be shown on this report. Hence the Operator displayed here will be the first operator to have added an Insurance fee to the booking.
- The operator who converts a Quote to a Booking will be allocated any CDW commissions due.
- Non commissionable insurance is NOT included in this report. To check if insurance is commissionable see the "Pay Operator Commission" option under Insurance in the System Setup menu. When this is set to "No" the insurance fee is excluded from this report.
