Forward Booking - Daily Revenue Report
Purpose:
The Forward Booking – Daily Revenue Report shows a breakdown of forward bookings and compares these against the previous year.
It breaks the information down to a daily rate.
Accessing Forward Booking - Daily Revenue Report:
Reports >> Hireage and Sales Reports >> Forward Bookings Report >> Forward Booking - Daily Revenue
Parameters/Filters:
Pickup Location | This report can be run for All Locations or a specific location. |
Rented Date | This is the date range that be applied to the booking. This will apply to bookings that are rented during this period. |
Apply Booking Date Range | You can also choose to apply a booking date range as well. To do this simply check this box. |
Booking Date Range | The booking date range that will be applied. |
Example:
Category | The Vehicle Category being reported on. |
Days Sold | The number of days during the reporting period that vehicles for this category has been on hire. |
| Days Sold Last Year | The number of days during the reporting period for the previous year, that vehicles for this category has been on hire. |
Rental Revenue | The total amount of rental revenue collected during the reporting period for bookings for this category. |
Rental Revenue Last Year | The total amount of rental revenue collected during the reporting period for the previous year, for bookings for this category. |
DDA Nett Daily Dollar AVG Nett Rate | The Daily Dollar AVG Nett is the average daily Rental Revenue rate. This is calculated by Rental Revenue divided by Days Sold. |
DDA Nett Daily Dollar AVG Nett Rate Last Year | The Daily Dollar AVG Nett Last Year is the average daily Rental Revenue rate for Last Year.. This is calculated by Rental Revenue Last Year divided by Days Sold Last Year. |
Extra Fees | The total amount of extra fees assigned to bookings for the vehicle category during the reporting period. |
Extra Fees Last Year | The total amount of extra fees assigned to bookings for the vehicle category during the reporting period last year. |
Insurance | The total amount of insurance assigned to bookings for the vehicle category during the reporting period. |
Insurance Last Year | The total amount of insurance assigned to bookings for the vehicle category during the reporting period last year. |
Total Revenue | The total cost of the bookings for the vehicle category during the reporting period. |
Total Revenue Last Year | The total cost of the bookings for the vehicle category during the reporting period last year. |
DDA Gross Daily Doller AVG Gross Rate | The Daily Dollar AVG Gross is the average daily total rate. This is calculated by Total Revenue divided by Days Sold. |
DDA Gross Daily Doller AVG Gross Rate Last Year | The Daily Dollar AVG Gross is the average daily total rate for last year. This is calculated by Total Revenue Last Year divided by Days Sold Last Year. |
Points to Note:
- Report values are calculated based on the number of Contract days in the Selected Date Range
- If the Booking Date Range is not applied, the previous year sales will not apply booking dates, it will include all bookings for selected report date range, just one year earlier.
- Extra Revenues do not include Recovered Expenses and Bond
- If your RCM system is running as Tax inclusive, all Revenues will include Country Sales Tax, but will not include State Sales Tax
- If your RCM system is running as Tax exclusive, all Revenues will not include both the Country Sales Tax and State Sales tax
- DDA Nett (Daily Dollar Average Nett) is calculated by Rental Revenue/Days
- DDA Gross (Daily Dollar Average Gross) is calculated by Total Revenue/Days
