Purpose
The Do Not Reason is an extra step when completing adding a customer to the Do Not Rent List. Do Not Rent records refer to customers who have been blacklisted and barred from renting vehicles for any number of reasons.
The Do Not Rent Reason is a mandatory field that needs to be selected on the drop down menu when making a Do Not Rent List record.
Examples of Do Not Rent Reasons are: Non Payment, Disputes owing money and rude to staff etc.
In short, the Do Not Rent Reason tab is where you can set up reasons for not allowing a customer to rent a vehicle.
Accessing the Do No Reason tab
The Do Not Rent Reason tab can be found under the Customer Maintenance submenu in Reservations.
Reservations > Customer Maintenance > Do Not Rent Reason
You will need to navigate across to the "Do Not Rent Reason" tab after clicking on "Customer Maintenance".
To Add a Do Not Rent Reason
Click "Add Do Not Rent Reason".
On the Add a Do Not Rent Reason record Page (see image below), enter the name of the Do Not Rent Reason.
Click Submit to close the page and refresh the Do Not Rent Reason list, where the newly-added Do Not Rent Reason record is now displayed.
