Q. How do I get a new Vehicle Category to appear on my website?


A. Having added a new Vehicle Category, it will not automatically appear on your web site until a series of actions have been taken.  You should check each of the steps below to make sure they are correct:
  1. The Vehicle Category will need to be set as a "Renting Category" on the Vehicle Categories screen.
  2. The Vehicle Category needs the "Web Available" flag set to Yes on the Web Vehicle Categories screen.
  3. Each Location you wish the Category to be available for needs to have a record in the Web Category Availability table for this Category
  4. There must be a Rate in place for EVERY day that you try to make a booking on the web. If the system finds a zero rate, the Category will NOT show on the site. Rates By Season
  5. You will need to ensure that the default season and all future seasons have rates set up for this Vehicle Category.
