Web Vehicle Categories
Purpose
The Web Vehicle Category determines how the vehicle category will be displayed on your website.
It allows you to set the car's features (seating, luggage capacity etc), and a description of the vehicle along with the image you would like to display. See the Web Vehicle fields table at the bottom of the article for a complete description of the available options in the Web Vehicle Categories.
It is important to note that if you want a Vehicle Category showing on your website, the field "Web Available" need to be set to "Yes".

Accessing Web Vehicle Categories
The Web Vehicle Categories icon can be found under Website Interface >> Web Vehicle Categories icon >> Web Categories
Update Vehicle Categories
All the categories setup in your system will display in the list.
Click the red name of the Vehicle Category you want to update.
This will open the Web Category screen where you can set up and update the Web Vehicle Category record.
Once the required information has been entered click "Submit" to save the changes.
Web Field Descriptions
Field | Description |
Web Available | Set whether this category of vehicle will be available from your website. |
No. of Adults | The number of adults this category of vehicle can safely carry |
No. of Children | The number of children this category of vehicle can safely carry |
No. of Large Luggage | The number of large pieces of luggage that can be safely stored in the vehicle |
No. of Small Luggage | The number of small pieces of luggage that can be safely stored in the vehicle |
Image | The name of the image file to be displayed for this Vehicle Category on your website. You can upload images from the Upload Images tab in Vehicle Categories. |
Web Vehicle Description 1,2 and 3. | These 3 fields allow you to enter additional information relating to the Vehicle Category. The text will appear as additional lines next to the vehicle image on your website. |
Vehicle Desc URL | Enter the URL to be used as a link that the user can click to access more information relating to this Vehicle Category. |
