Purpose
Sometimes however, there are cases that necessitate opening a location beyond its normal operating hours, e.g. extra demand for your rental cars particularly during a busy period, or simply just different opening hours for the days of the week. In these cases, you can extend working hours for a location through the Location Hours tab in System Setup.
You can set up extended working hours for all locations or a specific location.
Accessing Location Hours
The location hours tab can be found under the locations submenu in the System Setup.

To View the Extended Working Hours for a Location
On the Location Hours page, all the pre-existing hours and after hours will be displayed dependent on the location and days selected. Note you have option to also select all days - "*" or All Locations.
Click the "Select" button to search.
To Add Extended Working Hours for a Location
Click "Add Location Hour".
The following screen will display
On the New Location Hours page, enter in the relevant information:
A. Select either All Locations or a specific location to which the extended working hours will be added.
B. Select the week day to which the new hours would be applicable.
C. Enter the regular office hours.
D. Enter the after hours AM and after hours PM. By setting up the after hours periods, after hours fees can be applied automatically for pick-ups or drop-offs that occur after regular office hours. For periods starting and finishing at midnight, the AM start time must be 00:00 and the PM finish time must be 23:55.
E. Enter start and end dates. These are useful options to use when only changing office hours and after hours for a certain amount of time, for example, around the Christmas period. If no dates are selected, the hours and after hours entered will be ongoing until changed.
Click "Submit" to save the record.
