Purpose
The model of a car is the name used by a manufacturer to refer to the specific type of the car.
Every vehicle will have a make ( manufacturer name) and a model ( type of car). For example, Ford Focus where Ford is the make, and Focus is the model. Others may include Toyota Corolla, Nissan Sentra etc.

Accessing the Vehicle Model Tab
The Vehicle Model tab can be found under the Vehicle Maintenance menu.

Adding and Viewing a Vehicle Model
On the Vehicle Model page, a list of your current records will be displayed. To view an existing record, click on the Vehicle Model name in red text. To add a new Vehicle Make record, click "Add Vehicle Model".
On the new Vehicle Model page, enter in the required fields and optional Fuel Capacity. Click Submit to save the new record. You will be taken back to the main Vehicle Model page, where you will see the newly added record.
Name | Required (Yes / No) | Description |
Car Make | Yes | Select the vehicle make. The vehicle makes on the list should have been previously defined under the Vehicle Makes submenu.

Model | Yes | Enter the Vehicle Model name.

Fuel Capacity | No | Enter the model's fuel tank capacity, e.g. 50, which means that the fuel tank capacity is 50 litres.
