The Vehicle make refers to the vehicle manufacturer eg Ford, Toyota. Once created, the vehicle make is assigned to the vehicle models - e.g. Corolla, Focus.   The make model combination, for example Toyota Corolla, can then be assigned to a vehicle in the vehicle update screen. 

The Vehicle Make tab can be found under the Vehicle Maintenance menu.

On the Vehicle Make page, a list of your current records will be displayed. To view an existing record, click on the Vehicle Make name in red text. To add a new Vehicle Make record, click "Add Vehicle Make".

On the new Vehicle Make page, enter in the Vehicle "Make". Click Submit to save you changes. You will then be taken back to the main Vehicle Make page, where you will see the newly-added record.
