Purpose
RCM allows you to set monthly sales targets for your various locations. This feature is useful for keeping track of anticipated sales across multiple locations.
Once Budgets are set, the Sales Vs Budget reports allow you to view your budget, revenue and the percentage difference between to two. ( See links in Report Section below)
Accessing Sales Budgets
System Setup > Budget
Parameters / Filters
Location | By default, "All Locations" will be shown. Click on the drop down list to select one location, e.g. Brisbane Airport. |
Category | By default, "All Category" will be shown. Click on the drop down list to select one vehicle category. |
Date From and To | By default, the "From" and "To" dates will be January of the current year, e.g. Jan 2021-Jan201. Change these dates depending on your preference, e.g. Jan 2021-May 2021. |
Once you have set the Parameters / Filters, click "
Select".
Adding a Viewing a record
On the Budget screen, a list of previously added records will be displayed depending on what parameters / filters you have set. To view an existing record, click on the month and year in red text under the "Month" field. To add a record, click "Add Budget".
On the Add Budget page:
- Select a location from the drop down list. All Locations is the default. (Mandatory)
- Select the Year / Month when this sales budget record will apply. (Mandatory)
- Select a vehicle category. All categories is the default. (Mandatory)
- The other 6 fields are optional however entering a rental value or sales budget value is recommended for the correct use of this feature. Note that if you fill in the Rental Value field, Insurance

Click "Submit" to save the record.
