Purpose
This feature allows the user to set a maximum number of bookings that can be made per hour. This can be applied to both during and after hours. The Maximum Bookings feature can also be applied to All Locations and Category Types or specific ones. e.g. "All Locations" & "All Category Type" OR "Brisbane Airport" & and "Car" category type.
Maximum Bookings apply to all bookings entered inside RCM and from the Web and Agent API.
Accessing Maximum Bookings
System Setup > Area of Use > click on the Max Bookings tab
Adding and Viewing Maximum Booking records
Any pre-existing maximum booking records will be displayed.
To add a record, click "Add Maximum Bookings".
On the new Maximum Bookings, enter the information into each of the fields and click "Submit" as pictured below. For more information, see the "Field Descriptions" table further down this article.
Field Descriptions
Pickup Location | Select which pickup location this record will apply to, it can be a specific location or All Locations |
Category Type | Select which Category Type this record will apply to, it can be a specific category type or All Category Types. |
Maximum Bookings Per Half Hour | The maximum bookings per half hour allowed depending on what selection you have made regarding the pickup location and category type. |
After Hour Total Maximum Bookings | The total maximum bookings allowed after hours depending on what selection you have made regarding the pickup location and category type. |
