GPS KMs Travelled Report
Purpose:
The GPS KMs Travelled Report uses the GPS data to track KMs/Miles in a booking for a period of time.
Note that this report is only relevant to customers who have GPS units installed in their vehicles.
This report has been designed for long term bookings where customers are charged periodically for charges based around mileage, though may be useful in many other scenarios.
The report includes details such as the number of free KMs/Miles per day, and the start and end odometer reading for the period selected.
Accessing Kms Travelled Report:
Reports >> Other Reports >> GPS Kms Traveled
Parameters/Filters:
Pickup Location | This report can be run for All Locations or a specific Location. |
Category | This report can be run for All Categories or a specific Category |
Travelled Date Range | The From and To dates to be used in the KMs/Miles travelled calculation |
Example:
Note that the From and To dates are not a Pickup date range. They are used to display bookings that include the date range, and calculate the KMs/Miles travelled between these 2 dates.
It the below example the booking is from March 3 to May 5, but we only want to see the Kms/Miles travelled between March 15 and 1 April.
Fields
Res | The Reservation number for the booking, Clicking on the red reservation number will open the Booking Details screen. |
Booking Status | The status of the booking |
Category | The vehicle category that has been assigned to the booking |
Rego | The registration number of the vehicle that has been assigned to the booking. |
Pickup | The pickup location of the booking. |
Pickup Date | The pickup date of the booking |
Dropoff | The drop off location of the booking |
Dropoff Date | The drop off date of the booking. |
No. of Days | The number of rentals days the booking covers. |
Kms/Miles Free | The number of Kms/Miles free of charge for each day of the booking. |
Mileage | The current mileage recorded against the vehicle in RCM |
Kms at From Date | The actual Kms at the From date entered |
Kms at To Date | The actual Kms at the To date entered |
Kms Travelled | The number of Kms/Miles travelled between the 2 dates |
