Weekly/Monthly Rate

Weekly/Monthly Rate

Purpose

RCM allows you to create rates to apply to bookings that span weeks or months.
  1. If Weekly/Monthly rate structures are setup, you are able to specify on each booking whether  to apply a daily, weekly or monthly rate.
  2. The daily rate for any days which do not make up an entire week/calendar month will be calculated by dividing the weekly/monthly rate by the number of days in the week/month in question.
  3. The only discount that will b applied to monthly rates will be percentage discounts.
To use Weekly and Monthly rates you first need to setup the rate structures,  then the rates.
Please see the following link to the Weekly/Monthly Rate Structure article.

Creating Weekly/Monthly Rates

System Setup > Rates > Weekly/Monthly Rate tab

Any existing Rates  for Locations will appear in the list.  Click on 'Add Rate' to add any additional Location rates.

Applying Monthly/Weekly Rates

When you create a booking, you are able to select the Rate Type from the list on the Booking Details tab.
Note that this field will only appear if you have the Monthly/Weekly rates setup.

When a Monthly or Weekly rate has been selected, the Booking Fees tab will appear as below.
Any additional days ( outside of the week/month period) will appear on a separate line and the rate ( in this example)  will be the monthly rate divided by the number of days in the month.
