Vehicle Insurance Report
Purpose:
Rental Car Manager (RCM) allows you to save the Insurance details against individual vehicles. You can add the Insurance Policy information from the Vehicle Update screen, this is discussed at the end of this article in the Points to Note section.
The Vehicle Insurance Report will show a listing of any vehicles that has had insurance details saved against it.
Accessing Vehicle Insurance Report:
Vehicle Maintenance >> Fleet Finance Report >> Vehicle Insurance
Parameters/Filters:
Location | This report can be run for All Locations or a specific Location. The location used for this is the Owning Location of the Vehicle. |
Category | This report can be run for All Categories or a specific Category. |
Example:
Rego | The registration number of the vehicle. |
Update | Clicking on this link will open the Vehicle Insurance screen. |
Company | The name of the Insurance Company. |
Policy No | The Insurance Policy Number. |
Insured Amount | The amount the vehicle has been insured for. |
Monthly Payment | The monthly payment being made to the Insurance Company for this vehicle's insurance policy. |
Deductible | The deductible amount for this insurance policy. |
Start Date | The start date for this insurance policy. |
End Date | The end date for this insurance policy. |
Notes | Any notes that have been saved for this insurance policy. |
Points to Note:
Clicking on the Update link in the report will open the Vehicle Insurance form, shown below. You will be able to update the Insurance Policy information from this screen.
If you wish to add a new insurance policy to a vehicle or update the information for an existing one, you are able to do this from the Vehicle Update screen. You can access the Vehicle Update screen from the Vehicle Maintenance menu, see below.
You search for the relevant vehicle and then click on the Access Details button shown in the image below.
From the Vehicle Details screen, click on the Insurance button shown in the image below.
Printing/Exporting:
