Utilisation Report By Current Location
Purpose:
The Utilisation by Current Location report displays Utilization by category over a selected previous period by a single location. Please note that the report cannot be run for a period of less than three days. We recommend that reporting periods be one month or more.
Accessing Utilisation Report By Current Location:
Reports >> Monthly Financial Reports >> Monthly Utilisation Report >> Utilisation Report By Current Location
Parameters/Filters:
Pickup Location | The location this report will be run for. A specific location needs to be chosen here. |
Region | The Region this report will be run for. |
Category Type | This report can be run for All Category Types or a specific category type. |
Date Range | The date range that will be applied to this report. |
Example:
Category | The Vehicle Category being reported on. |
Average No of Vehicles | The average number of vehicles for the category. This is calculated using the following Number of days in the report period divided by Total Days Available. |
No of Bookings | The number of bookings for the vehicle category during the reporting period. |
Average Days per Booking | the average number of day for each booking. This is calculated using the following Days Rented divided by No of Bookings |
Average Rate | The average daily rental rate for the vehicle category. |
Days Rented | The total number of days vehicles in this category have been rented during the report period. |
Total Days Available | The total number of available days for the vehicles in the vehicle category during the report period. This calculation takes the date on and date off fleet into account for each vehicle. For example if you have a vehicle that has a date on fleet 10 days before the end of the report period, it will only count 10 days available for this vehicle. |
Utilisation Rate | The utilisation rate for this vehicle category. This is calculated using the following Days Rented divided by Total Days Available. |
Points to Note:
- Please note that this report has a minimum of a 3 day period. The longer the period covered, the more accurate the report becomes.
- The Report does not include Non Revenue Reservations.
- The report includes bookings that have not been hired yet (bookings & unallocated bookings) for report dates in the future.
- If the number of rental days for a booking have been manually changed & do not match up with the booking dates, then this report will use the number of rental days from the booking. For example, a booking with a booking period of 10th to 20th, but the number of rental days has been manually changed to 5 days, will be included in this report with 5 rental days rather than 10.
- Also, if the number of rental days for a booking have been manually changed & do not match up with the booking dates, it could result in the utilisation rate being greater than 100%.
