Setting Up Payment Subscriptions

Firstly, ensure you have an account setup  with Paypa Plane and advise support@rentalcarmanager.com that you are ready to commence the setup process. 

Step 1 - Completed by RCM

We will then do some setup our end and provide you with a URL to use at a later stage in your setup.

Step 2 - Completed by You
To integrate with Paypa Plane, you will need to provide us with some information that is available to you  from your Paypa Plane system.
You will also need to carry out some configuration (as below) and provide us with 3 pieces of data
1.  Account ID
2. Site ID 
3. API Key



Please follow these steps to obtain this data 
1. Log in to your Paypa Plane system.
2. Go to the "Account" section.
3. Go to the "Integrations" sub-section.
4. From the "Identifiers" panel, copy the Account ID, we will need this.
5. From the "Identifiers" panel, copy the Site ID, we will need this.
6. From the API Keys section, click "New" 
7. Give the API Key a name, e.g. "RCM API Key"


8. Click Create, and then immediately copy the full key value from the API Keys Section, we will need this.   *IMPORTANT* We need the full value of the key from when it was created.  If it is not copied at the time of creation then it can't be retrieved.


 9. Set up the Webhooks configuration, using the webhook URL that we provided you back in step 2
      a) Go to Account -> Integrations and in the "Configured Webhooks" section, click "New"
      b) Choose Object = "TransactionState" and enter the full webhooks URL into the Url section.
      c) Leave the other two sections as * :



10.  Provide these three pieces of information to RCM: 
  1. Account ID from step 4,
  2. Site ID from step 5,
  3. API Key from Step 8.  RCM will then complete the set up.
Step 3 - Completed by RCM
We will do the final configuration and let you know when it is complete.


Testing 

The initial set up will use "Test Mode" so you can test your subscriptions without actually taking payments (but it will send emails so don't use real customers).

Once you have finished testing, please contact RCM to let us know you are ready to go live.
