Sales By Agent Report
Purpose:
The Sales by Agent Report displays sales figures by Agent over a selected date range.
Accessing Sales By Agent Report:
Reports >> Hireage and Sales Reports >> Sales By Agent Report
Parameters/Filters:
Pickup Location | Report can be run for All Locations or a specific Pickup Location |
Region | Report can be run for all regions or a specific region. If both a Pickup Location and a Region are selected, then the Region will be applied. |
| Report Type | The choice can be made as to whether the information in the report is grouped by Agency or Agent Branch |
Category Type | Report can be run for All category Types or a specific Category Type |
Category | Report can be run for All Categories or a specific Category. |
Booking Status | The status of the reservations included in the report. The options are:

Date Type | This report can either be run where the date range applies to either the pickup date, drop off date, or the date the booking was entered. |
Set Range | The date range that will be used. This will apply to either the pickup date or the date entered, depending on the date type chosen. |
Example:
Agency | The name of the Agency If you have run the report for "Agency", you can click on the red Agency to see a listing of the reservations with this Agency against them. From the Agency listing, you are also able to drill down on the individual Agent Branches. |
Branch | The name of the agent Branch. This field will only appear when you have chosen to run the report as "Agent Branch". If you have run the report for "Agent Branch", you can click on the red Agent Branch to see a listing of the reservations with this Agent Branch against them. |
No Contracts | The total number of reservations with this Agency or Agent Branch that fall within the parameters for this report. |
No Contracts % | The percentage of bookings returned in this report that have either this Agency or Agent Branch against them. |
Insurance Applied % | The percentage of bookings with either this Agency or Agent Branch and have had an insurance option applied. |
Average Days Hired | The average length of hire for the reservations either this Agency or Agent Branch against them. |
Average Rate | The average daily rental rate for the reservations either this Agency or Agent Branch against them. |
Rental Revenue | The total of the rental rates for reservations with either this Agency or Agent Branch against them. |
Insurance Revenue | The total of the insurance options for reservations with either this Agency or Agent Branch against them. |
Extra Revenue | The total of the extra fees against for reservations with either this Agency or Agent Branch against them. |
Total Revenue | The total cost of the reservations with either this Agency or Agent Branch against them. |
Revenue % | The percentage of the Total Revenue of reservation returned in this report that have either this Agency or Agent Branch against them. |
You are able to click on the Agency to see a listing of the reservations with this Agency against them. Below is the screen that you will see when you do this. You can see that the reservations will be grouped by the Agent Branch.

Points to Note:
- The Report is based on Pickup Location (or Region) and may be filtered by `Date Booked` or `Pickup Date` or `Dropoff Date`.
- All Bookings including Reservations, Hires and Returns that meet the selection criteria are reported on.
- The report does not include Non Revenues and Maintenance bookings
- Extra Revenues do not include Recovered Expenses and Bond
- If you view the report by "Agent", you can view the Report by Agent Branch by clicking on the agent name.
