Q: Is it possible to set different rates for 'Agent Direct' and Agent Online steps

Yes, the agent setup in RCM allows multiple rate types. Essentially, the approach is to create the required Agent Rate Types, which are separate rate plans that can then be selectively applied to individual agents.

 For example, you may set up three Agent Rate Types.
1. VIP Agent
2. Euro Agent
3. NZ Agent

You can then apply these rate types to one or more agents, for example:
Flight Center (VIP rate plane)
Euro Travel (Euro Agent rate type)
YHA Direct NZ (NZ Agent rate type)
YHA Online NZ (VIP Agent)

You can see from the above the YHA would have two logins - one for direct bookings and one for online bookings. Each has a different rate plan and so can have differing rates depending on how they book.
