Q: I have set up all my rates, but when I enter a reservation, the rate is displayed as zero?

A: This is often caused by one of the following setup issues:

  1. No Rate entered for the pickup location.
When a vehicle is picked up from a location, for a rate to be available, there must be a rate configured for the location. 

  1. No Rate entered for a specific length of booking.
Another possible reason for a rate not being displayed is because no rate has been entered in the rates grid for the length of the booking. 
For example you may have different rates for 1-10 day bookings, 11-20 day bookings and 20+ day bookings. If you have accidentally left the 20+ day rate empty the rate will be displayed as zero.

  1. No Rate entered for the Category of vehicle being booked.
You may have accidentally missed the category of vehicle being booked. Go back to the rates grid and check that all the required categories of vehicle have been entered.

  1. No Rate entered for a required Season.
If you are using Seasonal Rates check to ensure that rates for the location and category of vehicle have been entered against the season the vehicle is being booked for.
