A: RCM allows you to create a Promo Code that customers may use to receive a discount when booking from your website. To assign a Promo Code to a web discount, a Promo Code must first be created within RCM.

The first step in creating a Promo Code is to create a Campaign Code that refers to your various marketing campaigns. 

Navigating to the Campaign Code tab - System Setup >> Rental Source >> Campaign Code.

The next step in creating a Promo Code is to create a rate discount which details all of the variables for your rate discount. For more information, see the Rate Discount article.  

Once the Campaign Code and rate discount have been completed the next step is to create a web rate discount assigning a discount to the Promo Code. For more information, see the Web Rate Discount article.
