Purpose
The Package Extras screen is where you add or maintain Extra Fees that are part of a package that can be used within RCM. The Packages Form is discussed in more detail in the following article Packages Form.
The Packages function is discussed in more detail in the following article Package Deals. Web Site Interface >> Packages >> Extras Button on the Package record you want to update.
Adding and Viewing a Record
From the Package screen, click on the Extras button for the package you are wanting to add, view or update the extras on, as shown in the image above.
To add a new fee, simply click on the "Add Extra" button.
You can add an insurance option by checking the "Insurance Fee" radio button, see below. You can then choose the insurance option from the drop-down.
If the package type is one that allows you to set a daily cost for this fee, you will see the Fee Cost field, otherwise you won't. The value in this field will default to the cost of the insurance setup within RCM. You are able to update this to have a different daily rate apply for this insurance option for bookings for this particular package.
Click on the "Add Extra" button to save this record.

You are also able to set the quantity for this extra fee on this package.
Click on the "Add Extra" button to save this record.
After clicking "Submit", you will be taken back to the main Package Extras screen, where you will see the newly added record.
Insurance | The name of the Insurance fee you want to add to this package |

Fee Cost | The cost to be assigned to this extra/insurance fee when part of this package. |
Update or Delete a Package Record
You can either update or delete an extra fee from a package by clicking on the Update or Delete options shown below.
It is important to note that if a package has already been assigned to a booking, it is considered to be is use. You will not be able to update the extra information for packages deemed to be in use. See below for the message you will see.
