RCM has recently updated the way emailing history is recorded. As part of this update, there is a new report, and a new resending function.
Whenever an email is sent from RCM, it is now logged and it can be viewed in a new report, accessed by going to Reservations >> Email History. This report will show which booking the email was sent from, if applicable, as well as information on the recipients and the time it was sent.
Please note: this report will only return the information for emails that were sent after this change was made. Emails that were sent before this update will not displayed in the report.
The information for each individual email can be seen by selecting the "View" button. This will open the Email Window shown below, this displays the date and time when the email was last sent, the email recipients and the email's subject. It will also display a link to any attachment that was sent as part of the email, and the message within the email itself.
At the bottom of the window, there is a button called "Resend". When you click on this button, the email will be resent to the same recipient, and this resending information will be recorded at the bottom of the window, along with the name of the User who resent it. This allows for a quick and efficient way of following up any emails.
Additionally, a specific bookings email history can now be viewed from the Booking Details page. At the bottom of the Booking Details page, below the notes, there is now an Email History section. This will show the information for every email that has been sent about this particular booking. Clicking on the "View" button will open the same window shown above, where you are able to resent the email if required.
