Purpose
Fuel types refer to the different types of fuel used by the vehicles in your fleet. For each fuel type added you can specify the price per unit (litre or gallon) and also whether it should be the default fuel type used when adding a new vehicle to your fleet. You can also create fuel types for electric engines that behave slightly differently.
The price entered can be optionally used to automatically calculate any fuel charges due at the end of a rental if the vehicles fuel tank is not returned full. Additionally, the fuel notes and fuel type can also be printed on the Rental Agreement to ensure the customer uses the correct fuel and refueling process for the vehicle they have hired.
