Vehicles on Hire by Location Report

Purpose:

The Vehicle on Hire by Category Report returns the percentage of vehicles that are currently out on hire. It displays the total number of vehicles, the number on hire and then the percentage.
You are able to run this report either by Location or by Region.

Reports >> Daily Activity Reports >> Vehicles on Hire by Category >> Vehicles on Hire By Location




Parameters/Filters:


Report By Vehicle Pickup
You can choose to run this report for either Location or Region.
It is important to note that if you run this report by Region, only locations that has been assigned to a region will be included.

Example:



Location
Depending on the option chosen, this will either be the Location or the Region.
If you click on the red Location/Region you will see a drill down on the Location/Region.
Total Vehicles
The total number of vehicles for this Location/Region.
On Revenue Hire
The total number of vehicles for this Location/.Region that are currently out on Revenue Hire.
Available Vehicles
The total number of vehicles for this Location/Region that are available for Hire, i.e., they are not currently out on hire.
On Non-Revenue Hire
The total number of vehicles for this Location/.Region that are currently out on Non-Revenue Hire.
On Revenue Hire %
The percentage of vehicles for this Location/Region that are currently out on Hire.

Clicking on the red Location/Region will open a new window drilling down on the Location/Region. The screen shown below is an example of what will be shown.



Points to Note:

  1. It is important to note that this report does not take into account the dates on the bookings. It simply counts the number of bookings that have a reservation status of Hired.
  2. Vehicle count will be based on the current location of each vehicle.
  3. Where a one-way hire has occurred, the current location changes to the drop off location as soon as the status is changed to "Hired". Both the Fleet count and Hire count will record the booking in the drop off location
  4. The On Hire figure is based on the number of bookings currently recorded as hired. Therefore as vehicles are recorded as "Returned" or "Hired" these figures will change during the day.
  5. Available Vehicles include current on Non-Revenue hire vehicles.
