Vehicles On Hire By Category Report

Purpose:

The Vehicle on Hire by Category Report returns the percentage of vehicles that are currently out on hire. It displays the total number of vehicles, the number on hire and then the percentage.

You are able to run this report either by Location or by Region.

Accessing Vehicles On Hire By Category:

Reports >> Daily Activity Reports >> Vehicle On Hire Percentage

Parameters/Filters:

Report by	You can choose to run this report for either Location or Region. It is important to note that if you run this report by Region, only locations that has been assigned to a region will be included.
Include Non-Revenue Bookings	You can choose to include non-revenue bookings in this report.

Example:

Location/Region	Depending on the option chosen, this will either be the Location or the Region.
Category Type	The Category Type associated with the Hired reservations. If you click on the red Category Type you will see a drill down on the category type.
Total Vehicles	The total number of vehicles for this Location/Region and Category Type
On Hire	The total number of vehicles for this Location/.Region and Category Type that are currently out on Hire.
On Hire %	The percentage of vehicles for this Location/Region and Category Type that are currently out on Hire.

Clicking on the red Category Type will open a new window drilling down on the Category Type. The screen shown below is an example of what will be shown.

Points to Note:

It is important to note that this report does not take into account the dates on the bookings. It simply counts the number of bookings that have a reservation status of Hired.
The vehicle count will be based on the current location of each vehicle.
Where a one-way hire has occurred, the current location changes to the drop off location as soon as the status is changed to "Hired". Both the Fleet count and Hire count will record the booking in the drop off location.
The On Hire figure is based on the number of bookings currently recorded as hired. Therefore as vehicles are recorded as "returned" or "hired" these figures will change during the day.
