Sales By Month Report

Purpose:

The Sales By Month report allows you to see a high-level summary of sales on a monthly basis. It also compares the sales data to the previous two years, allowing you to easily see the sales trend.

Accessing Sales By Month Report:

Reports >> Hireage and Sales Reports >> Sales By Category Report >> Sales By Month




Parameters/Filters:


Pickup Location
This can be run for All Locations or a specific location.
Region
This can be run for All Regions or a specific region
Brand
If the branding function has been turned within your RCM system this report can be run for All Brands or a specific brand.
Category
This report can be run for All Categories or a specific category.
Reservation Type
This report can be run for one of the following reservation types:
  1. All Bookings
  2. Future Bookings Only
  3. Hired (including Returned)
  4. Returned Only
Report Date Range Type
This report can be run for one of the following date ranges:
  1. Date Entered
  2. Drop Off Date
  3. Pickup Date
Report Date Range
This is the date range that will be applied to the report.


Example:

The information returned in this report will be grouped by the month.




Month
The month being reported on.
No Contracts
The number of bookings that fall within this month.
Rental Revenue
The total rental revenue for the bookings that fall within this month. This is only the rental rates.
Extra Revenue
The total cost of any extra fees associated with bookings that fall within this month.
Total Revenue
The total cost of the bookings that fall within this month.
Commission
The total of any agent commission applied to the bookings that fall within this month.
Net Total Revenue
The total Net revenue of bookings that fall with this month. This is the Total Revenue minus any commission.
Last YTD Net Total
The net total revenue from the same month last year.
% Diff
The difference between the Net Total Revenue and the Last YTD Net Total displayed as a percentage.
Two YTD Net Total
The net total revenue for the same month two years ago.
% Diff
The difference between the Net Total Revenue and the Two YTD Net Total displayed as a percentage.
