Relocation Fees – How They Work And What They Can Be Used For



Within RCM you are able to setup Relocation Fees that get automatically assigned to bookings made via your Web Booking module.  It is possible to have more than one Relocation fee apply to a booking, if you wish to apply more than one relocation fee to bookings, simply update the "Allow multiple relocation fees" to Yes under the System Parameters screen.



There are several circumstances where you might want to use this function.
  1. A standard Relocation fee or a One-Way fee to apply between locations.
  2. A fee that needs to be applied to the drop off location. An example of this would be an airport fee where the drop off location is an airport, but the pickup location is not.
  3. You can make a one-way booking unavailable by creating a relocation fee and setting the flag “Web Available” to No.
  4. You can specify that a one-way booking has to be longer than a certain number of days by using the Minimum Booking Days field. If the booking period is shorter than this value than the booking will not be allowed.
