Q: What is the best report to track monthly earnings for rental days that apply to a specific month, e.g., total earnings to date for April?
A: The Operating Control Report shows earnings for the days over the reporting period. For example, a 20-day hire ending on the 1st of April would show only one day of earnings for a report run from the 1st of April to the 10th of April.
To generate the Operating Control Report, go to Reports, then click the Monthly Financial Reports tab, then Operating Control Report.
