Q: Is there any way we can set RCM so it will not allow a rental to proceed if the vehicle is due for service?

Q: Is there any way we can set RCM so it will not allow a rental to proceed if the vehicle is due for service?

A: If you are using the Fleet Manager module to schedule regular servicing then you can use the the System Parameter called 'Stop Hire if Service Due By Units' and set this to 'Yes'.

For more details, see the System Parameters article.

Alternatively a possibly simpler method is to create a maintenance booking for the period the service is scheduled.  This will ensure no customer bookings can be made over the maintenance period.
