Q: How are vehicle Categories ordered on the Website?
The order in which vehicle categories appear on your website is controlled by various factors including the Alphabetic Order value recorded on both the Vehicle Categories and Categories Type pages.
Each vehicle category will appear under their relevant Category Type. The order in which these Category Types will appear is determined by:
- All Category Types without an Order value will be first, in alphabetical order according to the Category Types name.
- Then the Category Types with an Order value will appear according to that order.
- If any Category Types have the same Order value, will appear alphabetically according to the Category Types name.
Within these Category Types, all Vehicle Categories that are fully Available for booking will appear first. The order in which they appear is the same as explained above, except it uses the Vehicle Category Order value. Vehicle Categories that are available On Request will appear next - using the same ordering method - followed by Vehicle Categories that are Unavailable.
For example, if all the following Vehicle Categories are available, they will display in the following order on the website:
