A System Parameter has been added to the System Setup >> System Parameters > Vehicle Parameters that allows you to set the VIN number field on the Vehicle Update form as Mandatory.

When this Parameter is set to 'Yes' you will not be able to save a Vehicle Update record unless a VIN number is entered.
