Nett Operating Control Report

Nett Operating Control Report

Purpose:

The Nett Operating Control Report shows the nett total earnings and gross daily dollar average per vehicle grouped by vehicle category. This is useful for viewing total earnings per vehicle/category minus GST and commissions.  
The gross daily dollar average is computed by dividing the nett total earning by days rented.

Parameters/Filters:


Pickup Location
This report can be run for All Locations or a specific location.
Date Range
The date range the report will be run for.

Example:




Category
The vehicle category
Rego/Fleet #
This fields contains the following information, the model, registration number and fleet number of the vehicle 
No Days Rented
The number of days the vehicle has been rented during the reporting period.
No of Contracts
The number of bookings the vehicle has during the reporting period
GST and Commissions
The amount of GST and Agent Commissions the bookings have during the reporting period.
Nett Total Earning
The total of the bookings during the report period minus any GST and Commissions.
Percentage of Total
The percentage for this vehicle during he reporting period.
This is done as the following calculation, Nett Total Earning divided by Grant Total Nett Total Earning.
DDA Gross
The Daily Dollar Gross - this is the Nett Total Earning divided by the number of days.

Points to Note:

  1. Report values are calculated based on the No. of Contract days (Hired or Returned) in the Selected Date Range
  2. No. of Contract days are calculated based on the Category Rate type. If Category Rate Type is 12 Hours,
    you may see the No. of Days Rented field contain a value of 1 more than the no. of days in the report period.
  3. If the no. of days rented is more than the no. of days in the report period, you may have charged for more days, i.e., 2 bookings in one day or an early return.
    Also, if a booking has a change of vehicle, then the entire number of days for the booking will appear against the vehicle on this report.
  4. Nett Total Earning do not include Recovered Expenses, Bond, Sales Tax and Agent Commission
  5. DDA Gross (Daily Dollar Average Gross) is calculated by Nett Total Earning/Days
