March 2024: New Availability Check (AE) Report

RCM has a new report that can check your vehicle availability according to the Availability Engine (AE). It will show whether there are vehicles that are available for normal or On Request bookings based on vehicle utilisation and other AE rules set up in your system. 

Note: This report is part of the AE, and so it is only accessible if you have the Availability Engine set up in your system. For more information, please see the Availability Engine Overview article.

To access this report, go to System Setup >> Availability Engine Settings >> Availability Check (AE)


This report does not consider any of the minimum age, relocation, after hour or Web/Agent Category Availability rules. To check these you will still need to use the Category Availability Check and Agent Category Availability Check reports. 
This report looks at whether or not there are vehicles available for a booking during the searched time period and location according to the AE rules:
  1. Turnaround Gaps
  2. Vehicle Sharing and Vehicle Movement Rules
  3. Availability Utilisation Rules
  4. Contingency or Overbooking
  5. On Request for Long Bookings
  6. Max Days in Advance

This report will also display messages returned by the Availability Engine when certain rules apply. This report can be useful in determining why categories are displaying as not available or On Request only on your website or Agent API as it displays the same information that these use.
