Lock Box List
As of December 2023, lockboxes are no longer available for purchase.
Purpose
The Lock Box List report allows you to manage and view the lock box details and functions for all lock boxes that are registered to your company.
Accessing the Lock Box List
The Lock Box List can be accessed by going to - System Setup >Lock box List
Note - If you are using lock boxes and the Lock Box List is not showing on the screen - please contact support@rentalcarmanager.com and we will add it for you.
The Lock Box List shows all lock boxes registered against your company as follows:
Field List
Lock ID - this is the unique number assigned to the lock when created in the system
Lock Name - the name the system gives to the lock box
Lock Alias - the alias you would like to use for the lock box - click on the red text to view and/or change the Alias
Next Reservation - the next reservation that has this lock box assigned.
Release Box - this will release ( or remove) the lock box from the next reservation. You will get a confirmation message as follows:
All Reservations - View - This gives you a list of past and current booking details for the lock box
Generate Code - allows you to generate a code for a specific start date/time and end date/time.
This is convenient when you need to access the lock box when a code has expired.
Once generated, the pass code details will display - you will need to take note of the code, as no email is sent.
