July 2025: Updated report to help prepare for Vault Deprecation

July 2025: Updated report to help prepare for Vault Deprecation

At the end of August, RCM is deprecating the Secure Credit Card Vault. From now on, we recommend using payment gateways to store customer credit cards and handle payments made against bookings. We currently support integrations with the VostroPayStripe, and Windcave payment gateways

When the vault is deprecated, all cards saved in it will be securely wiped from the system. This may leave you with bookings that have no other card details saved against them. In order to prepare for this, RCM have added a new filter to the Bookings Without Credit Card Or Token Expiry report to show bookings that only have cards in the Vault.

This report shows bookings that have no cards saved against them and bookings that have cards that will expire before the booking's pickup dates. When this new filter named "Include bookings that only have vault cards" is selected, the report will also show bookings that only have cards saved in the vault. This enables you to see which bookings will not have cards against them once the Vault is deprecated so that you can collect new card details from the customer through a payment gateway before this happens.

This report can be found by going to Reservations >> Booking without Credit Card or Token Expiry. As you can see, the new filter is highlighted in the image below. When this selected, bookings which only have cards saved in the vault will appear, and the Token Removal Date field will display "31/Aug/2025", as this is the date the vault will be deprecated and all its cards will be removed.
