ID Check Setup
Overview
Rental Car Manager has partnered with APLYiD to provide identity verification functionality, all from within your RCM system.
To enable this integration please get in touch with RCM support (support@rentalcarmanager.com) and ask about enabling the ID Check functionality.
Once RCM Support has enabled this feature for your RCM system you will need to follow the instructions below to complete the setup process. Please note you will need access to an APLYiD Company Admin account.
APLYiD Setup
Login to Rental Car Manager and open the “ID Check Setup” page (System Setup > ID Check Setup).
Take note of the values in the "APLYiD Webhook Configuration" box, you'll need to enter these in your APLYiD account.
Login to your APLYiD account and open the “API” page (Admin > API).
In the “Web hook configuration” box, enter the details from the RCM "ID Check Setup" page.
Tick the “Is enabled?” checkbox and click “Save”. You can also click “Test” to ensure the web hook is configured correctly.
RCM Setup
Login to your APLYiD account and open the “API” page (Admin > API).
You will need both the “API Key” and “API Secret” from the “API configuration” box.
In RCM open the “ID Check Setup” page (System Setup > ID Check Setup).
Enter your APLYiD “API Key” and “API Secret” and click “Save API Credentials”.
