Forecast Monthly Earnings Report
Purpose:
The Forecast Monthly Earnings Report displays sales figures by location and vehicle category over a selected date range. By default, the report will run over the current month.
Accessing Forecast Monthly Earnings Report:
Reports >> Hireage and Sales Reports >> Forecast Monthly Earnings Report
Parameters/Filters:
Location | This report can be run for All Locations or a specific location. This applies to the pickup location of the bookings. |
Region | This report can be run for All Regions or a specific region. |
Brand | If the branding function has been turned on within your RCM system, you can run this report for All Brands or a specific brand. |
Category Type | This report can be run for All Category Types or a specific category type. |
Pickup Date Range | This is the pickup date range that will be applied ot the report. |
Agent Booking Only | If you are wanting to restrict this report to only report on Agent Bookings, check this box. |
Example:
The results in this report is grouped by Location and then by Vehicle Category.
Location | The location being reported on. |
Category | The vehicle category being reported on. |
Rental Revenue | The total of the rental revenue for the bookings for this location and category that fall within the reporting period. This is the rental revenue for bookings that have either a Hired or a Returned status. |
Forecast Rental Revenue | The total of the rental revenue for the bookings for this location and category that fall within the reporting period. This is the rental revenue for bookings that have a status of reservation and any unallocated bookings. |
Extra Revenue | The total of the extra fees assigned to the bookings for this location and category that fall within the reporting period. This is the extra revenue for bookings that have either a Hired or a Returned status. |
Forecast Extra Revenue | The total of the extra fees assigned to the bookings for this location and category that fall within the reporting period. This is the extra revenue for bookings that have a status of Reservation and unallocated bookings. |
Total Revenue | The total cost of all the bookings for this location and category that fall within the reporting period. |
Points to Note:
- Both the Rental Revenue and the Extra Revenue value only include Hired or Returned bookings in the calculation.
- The Forecast Rental Revenue and Forecast Extra Revenue only include Allocated bookings with a Reservation status and Unallocated bookings in the calculations.
