Purpose
The Email Attachments feature, allows you to upload any PDF files that you would like to email (as standard) along with specific email types.
These files will be attached to emails messages for the specified email type.
For Example, you might want a PDF document that has detailed pickup instructions/directions to be attached to all Confirmation emails to customers.
The Email types available for this feature are:
- Booking Confirmations
- Quotes
- Invoices
- Agreements
The attachments for Confirmations and Quotes will be sent with emails generated from both within RCM and on-line bookings.
Invoices and Agreements will only have attachments when emailed through RCM
Accessing Email Attachments
System Setup>Email Attachments
Creating the Email Attachments
On the Email Attachments screen, click on 'New'
Enter a name and a Description for the attachment, and click on 'Upload file'.
You can browse to find the file, or drag and drop.
Select the Email Types ( you can choose more than one) and click on 'Update'.
In the above example, when a Confirmation email is sent from RCM or Online, the pickup_instructions.pdf document will be attached and sent with the email.
When sending the Confirmation from within RCM, you will notice that the attachment automatically appears on the 'Attachments' tab of send Email Confirmation.
