Customise Rental Agreement and E-Signature Rental Agreement Templates based on Brand, Vehicle Category Type or Location
Purpose
This
new feature allows users to create custom Rental Agreement and E-Signature
Rental Agreement Templates. This is a useful tool to use as you can still keep
a default template, but can customise your Rental Agreement and E-Signature
Rental Agreement Templates based on a reservations Brand, Vehicle Category Type
or Location.
It is important to note that either of these two templates can only be customised for one of the following options: Brand, Vehicle Category Type or Location. For example, Rental Agreement Template by Vehicle Type. You can also have the Rental Agreement Template and the E-Signature Rental Agreement Template customised by different options.
If you wish to have this feature enabled for you, please email support@rentalcarmanager.com for more information and let us know what field you want your template/s to be specific to. Please note, you already have the functionality to make your standard Rental Agreement to be location specific:
Example
Let's pretend you requested your Rental Agreement Template to be Vehicle Category Type specific and the E-Signature Rental Agreement Template to be Location specific:
Rental Agreement Template - Vehicle Category Type Specific
Like you usually would to update your Rental Agreement Template, go to Agreement & Other Templates under the System Setup Menu: System Setup > Agreement & Other Templates.
This then displays your default Rental Agreement Template:
If you wish to make your RA Template Vehicle Category Type(s) different from from one another, simply click on the "For Category Types" drop down box and select the Category Type(s). This will then produce the same default template you currently have, where you can then update that template. When you are happy with your changes, click "Submit" to save and activate the template for that Category Type - Car.
If you no longer want to use that template and would rather reservations for that Category Type (Car) used the default template, select the "Car" template on the "For Category Types" drop down box and then click "Delete this Template". This will result in that template no longer being "in use":
E-Signature Rental Agreement Template - Location Specific - Note you need the E-Signature feature to use this
Go to The E-Signature Setup under the System Setup Menu: System Setup >E-Signature.
This then displays the screen as seen below. From here, click on the "Update signed agreement template" button as indicated:
You will then be taken to your default E-Signature Rental Agreement template:
Just like your standard Rental Agreement, if you wish to make your E-Signature RA Template Location(s) different from from one another, simply click on the "For Location" drop down box and select the Location(s). This will then produce the same default template you currently have, where you can then update that template. When you are happy with your changes, click "Submit" to save and activate the template for that Location - Brisbane Airport.
If you no longer want to use that template and would rather reservations for that Location (Brisbane Airport) used the default template, select the "Brisbane Airport" template on the "For Location" drop down box and then click "Delete this Template". This will result in that template no longer being "in use":
