RCM now allows you to decide if an Agent is able to pass in the agent collected amount when creating a booking using the Agent API. If the agent passes this value in, then RCM will not calculate the agent collected amount for the booking and will save the passed in amount instead.

To allow an agent to be able to do this, you will need to update the flag "API: Allow define Collected Amt" so that it is set to Yes, see below for a screenshot of where this flag appears on the Agencies screen.
