RCM Lite - Improved Photo Capture Workflow

What’s New

We’ve made it faster and easier for you to capture and upload photos in RCM Lite.

Previously, each image had to finish uploading before you could capture the next one — now, RCM Lite automatically processes and uploads images in the background, allowing you to continue capturing photos without waiting.

Background image processing:

You can now capture multiple images in succession. While one image is being uploaded, you can immediately move on to capture the next.
RCM Lite handles the uploads in the background, so you don’t need to wait between captures.
This enhancement is available for Hire Out, Change Vehicle, and Return workflows in RCM Lite.

Continue with Your Workflow:

After capturing multiple photos, you can move on to other steps in your workflow while RCM Lite continues processing the images in the background.
Please note:
  1. Buttons such as Sign Agreement, Hire Out, Change Vehicle and Return will remain disabled until all images have finished uploading successfully.
  2. Steps that require navigating to a new page (e.g. Sign Agreement) cannot proceed until the background uploads are complete.

In Case of Upload Failures:

If some images fail to upload — for example, due to poor internet connectivity or if your device was switched off — you won't lose your captured photos.
  1. The unprocessed images are saved locally and will appear in the Image Queue.
  2. You can access the Image Queue from the top left/right corner of the screen.
  3. (Note: This page only appears when there are images being processed or waiting to be processed in the background.)
  4. Once your device is back online, RCM Lite will automatically resume uploading images in most cases.
    You can also manually re-submit any failed images from the Image Queue page.
