Quick Return
Purpose
The Quick Return feature provides the operator with a quick way to update a booking to a Returned status. To use this feature, the balance of the booking must be $0 and there should be no extra charges that need to be applied to the booking.
Accessing Quick Return
To access the Quick Return, go to Reservations>Quick Return
Returning the Booking
You can choose to enter a booking number or the registration number of the vehicle in question.
If you enter the registration number, the system will find the booking which currently has this vehicle assigned with a status of Hired .
If the booking in question has a balance other than $0, then you will be presented with a message stating that you will be unable to perform the Quick Return function for this booking.
You can click on Update Reservation to open the booking for completion.
If the booking has a 0 balance and no further monies owing, you are able to click the Quick Return button as below to return the booking.
Enter the Kms in and Fuel in and choose to close (yes/no) the reservation.
Click on Submit to Return the booking
