Q: I am having trouble connecting to RCM
Invalid Login Message
If you are trying to login to RCM and you are receiving an invalid login message please first check that your login and password is correct. If you are sure your login and password details are correct then you may be attempting to login on the wrong or an old RCM URL (website address). See below for examples of the current URL that all users now use to login vs the an old RCM URL.
Remember to save the RCM login page address in your internet favourites or place a shortcut on your desktop for future use.
Page Not Found Message
If you are having trouble connecting to the actual Rental Car Manager page (i.e. receiving a page not found message) first check to see if your internet connection is working. For example try connecting to
http://www.google.com/ and complete a search.
If you can successfully connect to other sites but not Rental Car Manager the issue is often an internet routing issue. These types of issues occur when the 'route' taken between your ISP and the RCM data-center has been broken for some reason. One way to test this is if you have another connection available .i.e. a 4G wireless connection or perhaps a laptop using another ISP provider and try to connect to RCM. Often you will find you can connect using a different ISP which points to a routing problem.
