Q: How do I delete cards from my Payment Gateway? (Stripe, Windcave, VostroPay)
Card tokens can be freely deleted from both Stripe and VostroPay however, if you are using the Windcave payment gateway, you will first need to contact support@rentalcarmanager.com to configure your system to allow the deletion of the card tokens.
Users will only be able to delete cards from a Payment Gateway if they have permission to do so. In System Setup >> Users, company administrators are able to view and edit any existing users in your system.
When updating a user's information, on the Permission tab there is an option called "User can delete rebilling tokens". If this is selected, as shown below, then the user will be able to delete cards saved in any payment gateway.
When a user with this permission views a card token saved in a payment gateway, there will be a "Delete" button against this card as shown below. This button allows the removal of this card token from the system.
Please note: If there are payments or authorisations already saved against a card that is then deleted, these transactions can still be voided, captured or refunded.
