Electronic Signing of Unallocated Bookings
It is now possible to invite customers to electronically sign a Rental Agreement for an Unallocated Booking.
This feature can be turned on by accessing System Setup > E-Signature Setup
In the configuration settings, set the flag to allow E-Signing of Unallocated Reservations.
Once the flag is set, the option to Print and Email Agreements from an Unallocated booking will appear in the Document and Email sections of the Booking Summary.
Points to Note:
When this feature is turned on, it will also automatically start collecting signatures on unallocated bookings via the Online Check In.
The booking will appear in all e-signature reports
When a vehicle is allocated, the signature will follow to the allocated booking.
You might like to consider the wording on your agreement/terms and conditions based on signing for a 'TBA' vehicle rather than a specific allocated vehicle.
