Damage Area

Overview

Damage areas refer to the area of the vehicle that may be damaged when an accident occurs.

Maintaining Damage Areas

Damage areas are maintained under the Damage Areas tab of the Damage Management submenu in Vehicle Maintenance. The damage area records are used in the drop down options when adding or updating damage on a vehicle, under damage management.


To Add a Damage Area

  1. Click Vehicle Maintenance
  2. Click Damage Management
  3. Click the Damage Area tab
  4. Click Add Damage Area
  5. On the New Damage Area page, enter the name of the damage area.
  6. Click Submit to save your changes and close the New Damage Area page.
    The damage area is now added to the Damage Area table.



To Edit a Damage Area

  1. Click Vehicle Maintenance
  2. Click Damage Management
  3. Click the Damage Area tab
  4. Click the record you want to edit


To Delete a Damage Area

  1. Click Vehicle Maintenance
  2. Click Damage Management
  3. Click the Damage Area tab
  4. On the Damage Area table, click the red rubbish bin icon under the rightmost Delete column
  5. Click Yes on the confirmation message to delete the record.​
