Corporate Rates Setup

Corporate Rates are rates that are specific to one or more Customer or Company. These rates are linked to a Corporate Rate type and enable you to apply a special rate to specific Customers and Companies. You may have as many Corporate Rates as required.

Accessing Corporate Rates

System Setup >> Rates >> Corporate Rates





When maintaining your Corporate Rates, you need to select a ' Corporate Rate Type', 'Location' and an  'Active Season' or a 'Year'  from the drop down boxes as shown on the screen below. 

Corporate Rate Type:
In the Corporate Rate Type dropdown box you will have to choose the Corporate Rate Type you are interested in.

Active Season:
In the 'Active Season dropdown box,  there is a 'Default' option along with any additional Seasons you have setup. 
Rates can be created for the 'Default' season and/or each Season that you have created( High, Low, Spring, Summer etc. )
Note that the Rates entered for the 'Default' season will be used if there is no seasonal rates defined for the dates of the booking. 

Year:
If you select the 'Year' all seasons setup for that year will display for the selected location 
Note that if you select the 'Year' view, you are not able to use the copy or update function.  To use the copy function, you must select a season. 

Once you have made your selections,  click 'View' to display the result.
In this example we have chosen an 'Active Season'. 



It is important to note that weekend rates do not apply to Corporate Rates, so you will not see the Weekend option you would see on both the Agency Rates and Seasonal Rates screens.

Adding Corporate Rates

To add a rate to a specific Vehicle Category, click on 'Add a Rate'. You will see the screen shown below. Make sure you have selected the correct Location, Season and Category and then enter the rates. Once done, click the Submit button to save the changes.



A more time saving way to add Corporate Rates for certain Vehicle Categories for a corporate rate type (Loyal Customer), a location (Brisbane Airport) and Season (Winter), is by clicking on the 'Update seasonal rates' button.



The following screen will appear. From here you can easily add in all the Corporate Rate for the Vehilce Categories that are available. Click Submit to save all the changes made.


Updating and Copying Corporate Rates

To copy the Corporate Rates, click on "Copy Seasonal Rates".

The following screen will display allowing you to: 
  1. Copy rates to all or individual locations and all or individual vehicle categories.
  2. Copy across the same rates to the same season of another location.
  3. Increase and decrease rates by a positive or negative percentage when copying  (Decrease the rate by putting a negative sign in front of the % change eg. -10%).
Note you can individually select and un-select locations and vehicle categories. 

In this example we are copying the Difficult Customer rates for the Default Season at Brisbane Airport to all Locations and Categories. we are also adding 10% to the rates.



If you are wanting to update the rates for a single category, you can do this by clicking on the Update icon shown on the screen below.



The following screen will be displayed which allows you to update the rates. Click Submit to save any changes made.
